Simone Fratti

Simone Fratti was born in Pavia in 1982. He completes university studies in philosophical sciences and in education and training sciences. He integrates his education by attending schools and institutes of visual arts that allow him to lay a solid foundation in the construction of a personal expressive language. He investigates the different forms of construction and manipulation of the photographic tool, and video, always remaining in balance, and in conflict, between a pure and obsessive aesthetic research and a more aseptic pragmatic conceptualism. At the same time he deepens the study of music in conservatories and private schools, perfecting his knowledge of low string instruments and starting an interest in contemporary music and radical improvisation.

Currently his research focuses on the realization and construction of works in which vertically collide more disciplines, stimulating both the visual and the sound at the service of the poetics of emotional introspection.
