Giorgio Pacorig

Born on March 25, 1970, he began playing the piano at the age of eight. He graduated in piano from the “G. Tartini” Conservatory in Trieste.
In 1991, he participated in the “Siena Jazz” seminars, and in 1993, he took part in a workshop held by Muhal Richard Abrams and Roscoe Mitchell in Trento.
Since 1989, he has been intensely active both as a pianist-keyboardist and as a composer, creating numerous musical groups ranging from jazz to electronic music, from film music to improvised music, and collaborating with numerous musicians of various backgrounds and origins.
All these experiences have led him to play in a wide variety of “musical spaces,” from jazz clubs to social centers, from theater festivals to jazz festivals, both in Italy and abroad.
He has made about seventy recordings, both as a leader and as a session musician.
