Luca Tilli
Luca Tilli studied cello with master Michele Chiapperino. After experiences with various Stable Orchestras, his concert and study activity in the field of contemporary music and improvisation led him to collaborate with the American cellist Tristan Honsinger. Since 2005 his activity has focused on avant-garde music, collaborating permanently in trio with Luca Venitucci and Fabrizio Spera and participating in various festivals with Sebi Tramontana, Paul Lytton, John Edwards, Phil Minton, Massimo Pupillo, Lol Coxhill and with Mike Cooper and Roberto Bellatalla in the RAST trio. In 2007 he played in Katia Labèque’s B for Bang ensemble and in Zu’s recording work “The Left Hand Path” (Trost Records 2014). In 2011 he took part in the project “Mirror emperor” with Zu and David Tibet (Current 93). Since 2017 he has been playing in the Kammermusik trio with G. Schiaffini and E. De Fabritiis. In 2017 he comes out for WE INSIST! Records “Prayer” of the octet “Pipeline8” directed by Giancarlo “Nino” Locatelli. Also released in 2019 for WE INSIST! Records releases “Down at the docks” in duo with Sebi Tramontana. In the theatrical field he collaborates in 2007 to the show Bianco by Daria Deflorian. Since 2012 with the theatre company Biancofango and with Santasangre in the Konya project. He plays in duo with singer Monica Demuru in contemporary performances and concerts. Since 2009 he has collaborated permanently as a musician and performer with Federica Santoro.
